SS Petrolia is an upgraded second-generation
semi-submersible Pentagon
drilling vessel capable of operating in water depths up to 1100 feet. It was
built by Compagnie Francais de Entreprises Metalliques (CFEM), in Dunquerque,
France. The vessel is registered in Liberia and is classified by DNV with a
rating of +1A1.

SS PetroRig I
Delivery March 2009
Larsen Oil & Gas - on behalf of
itself as drilling contractor and PetroRig I Pte Ltd (Owner) - and Petrobras
Americas have signed a 5 year contract + a 5 year option at mutually agreed
terms for drilling in the US GoM in water depths to 10,000 ft/3050 meters. Total contract value for fixed
term is approximately MUSD 750.
Drilling operations will commence June 2009, immediately following rig delivery from yard, March 2009.
SS PetroRig II
Delivery September 2009
Larsen Oil & Gas – on behalf of
itself ans drilling contractor and PetroRig II Pte Ltd (Owner) – and Petroleo
Brasileiro S.A have signed a 5 year contract + a 5 year option at mutually
agreed terms for drilling
operations in Brazilian waters in water depths to 7,500 ft. The value of the
contract makes approx. MUSD 645 exclusive of options.
Drilling operations will commence
December 2009 immediately following rig delivery from yard, September 2009.
SS PetroRig III
Delivery January 2010
Larsen Oil & Gas – on behalf of
itself as drilling contractor and on behalf of PetroRig III Pte Ltd (Owner) –
and PEMEX have signed a contract for drilling in 7,000 ft waterdepth in Mexican
waters.
Contract duration is 5 years with
scheduled commencement of drilling 1st quarter 2010, immediately
following delivery of the rig from the yard.
The contract value is approximately
MUSD 942.
