The company, founded January 2005 and incorporated in Oslo,
Norway with administrative offices in Bergen, is listed on the Oslo Stock
Exchange Axess (ticker: PMENA). PetroMENA ASA’s
wholly owned rig owning subsidiaries PetroRig I Pte Ltd., PetroRig II Pte Ltd.
and PetroRig III Pte Ltd. are incorporated and located in Singapore, each having
entered into EPC fixed price construction contracts for FriedeGoldman EXD ultra
deepwater semi submersible drilling rigs with Jurong Shipyard in Singapore.
The company operates under management by Larsen Oil & Gas
(LOG). Larsen Oil and Gas in an international
drilling and production contractor with offices in Norway, Aberdeen (UK),
Singapore and Dubai. Regional offices are being established in West and South
Africa, Brazil, the US and Mexico.
LOG specialise in the development, construction and operation of
semi-submersibles and jack-up drilling platforms, FPSOs and mobile combined
Drilling and Production platforms.
